LAMB by Christopher Moore
A friend gave me this book for my birthday earlier in the week and I just finished reading it. Can't remember laughing so hard or so often during a book. Neither can I remember having finished a book with such a sure knowledge that I must re-read it because I had to have missed some important stuff.
Nobody's perfect...Well there was this one guy, but we killed him.

Appreciation
Right here, right now, in this moment, I'm very much appreciating all the writers and people who have helped me market myself. I've just discovered my name, my work, kind comments, and links to my website and/or blogs in a bunch of places I never expected.
So, at the risk of overlooking someone who's got my name plastered somewhere I don't yet realize, thank you to: Elizabeth Eagan-Cox, Darden North, M.D., Barbara Theroux, Denny Griffin, Ed Azzopardi, David Baumstark, and Jim Cuprisin.

Another Website for Writers
I recently discovered this web site after re-visiting the site of Darden North, author of medical thrillers and past interviewee on my Author Exchange Blog.
Since setting up an account, I've had numerous visitors to the excerpt of Second Time Around and a number of my published magazine articles.
Here's the web site if you want to check it out: http://www.authorsden.com/. Of course, don't forget to check my page out on the site!

Happy Birthday to Me
Thanks for all the kind wishes (and lunches and dinners) from my friends and family.
As far as I'm concerned, getting older's the way to go!

Just got a Twitter account to see what all the fuss is about. See my link on this blog.
Author Interviews
I believe it is important for writers to band together to help each other professionally--which is why I'm a member of half a dozen writer's groups.
I also believe it's important for us to help market each other. We can do this in a number of ways:
Check out my Author Exchange Blog if you want to help market other writers OR if you're just looking to find another good book: Author Exchange Blog.

Book Ranking - SECOND TIME AROUND
I've been keeping track of Second Time Around's ranking on both Fictionwise and Amazon since it was released during the last week of January. Here's the scoop:
- It's currently in spot #3 for all titles by ePress-online, my publisher. It debuted dead last (which every book does), then jumped to spot #2 - where it sat for several weeks. Other than one week where it returned to dead last, it's been bouncing back and forth between #2 and #6.
- It's currently ranked at 804,465. It was 802,000-something 5 minutes ago and has bounced back and forth between 32,000-something and 1,400,000-something.
If you liked Second Time Around - post your review on Fictionwise and Amazon, OR recommend it to a friend, OR visit me at my book signing on Friday, May 8th at Fact & Fiction Books in Missoula.
